Call for Evidence: Social Exclusion Task Force Families At-Risk Review

This call for evidence is being administered for the Cabinet Office by the Centre for Economic and Social Inclusion (http://www.cesi.org.uk).  The call for evidence will take the form of a short electronic questionnaire. The questionnaire looks at your views on ‘whole family’ approaches and provides an opportunity for you to share practice examples with us.

If you would like to read a letter from the Social Exclusion Task Force explaining the aims and focus of this call for evidence please click here.

The questionnaire cannot be saved, and must be completed during one session. If you would like to see a copy of all questions before you complete the questionnaire, to enable you to prepare your answers, you can download them from here.

In recognition of the extensive demands upon your time the questionnaire has been designed to be as brief as possible whilst still meeting the needs of the Social Exclusion Task Force. It should therefore take no more than 30 minutes to complete. Further submissions are however welcome, and there is a chance, at the end of the questionnaire, to send us more information about your work, and to provide your contact details. We are happy to accept both personal and corporate responses.

If you would like any further information on how to complete this questionnaire, or would like to request a paper version of the document, please do not hesitate to contact Beejal Parmar at Inclusion.  You can email Beejal at beejal.parmar@cesi.org.uk or call her directly on 0207 582 7221.

Thank you in advance for your time, and your important contribution to this call for evidence.

If you need to go back and change any answers then please could you press the 'reset' button before carrying on with the rest of the questionnaire.

Reaching Out: A Conference on Social Exclusion

The Social Exclusion Task Force is also running a series of events to support the families at risk review. These will offer an opportunity to hear from key speakers including Hilary Armstrong (Social Exclusion Minister), Polly Toynbee (Guardian columnist and broadcaster) and Lord Victor Adebowale (Chief Executive, Turning Point); engage with leading thinkers and contribute your views to the discussion through structured workshops. There are three events:

This event is aimed at strategic policy makers, service managers and delivery agencies at national and local levels – particularly those with an interest in services for at risk adults in families. You can see the provisional agenda and register to attend at www.coievents.co.uk/socialexclusionconference

We look forward to seeing you there!
